Jett Moxley She/Her
I offer an empathetic and non judgmental practice. I understand very well that life can be a struggle and that it can feel impossible to navigate the systems and relationships we need to when we are emotionally overwhelmed.
I have worked for the last decade with survivors of sexual violence and am the current Assistant Director of the Sexual Assault Crisis Service in Hartford County, so understand very well how trauma can affect us to our core. I want every client to feel fully connected to themselves and find the calm and comfort that we all deserve, even if that feels impossible right now.
I also have worked extensively both in counseling and activism here in CT to support the LGBTQ+ community. I have worked with clients who want to understand who they are, come out to loved ones and transition. These may feel like stressful times but they are also wonderful and affirming times that can be celebrated while we process the external issues.
I want my clients to feel safe, comfortable and in control of their own healing. If you want to meet I would be happy to work with you to find all of those things

Tiana Griffin She/Her
Hi! I’m Tiana, an LMSW licensed in CT with clinical knowledge and experience in providing diverse services to adults, adolescents, and children. Outside of outpatient, I also work as an individual therapist and recovery counselor in a residential for adolescents with co-occurring disorders.
In working with chronically complex individuals, I believe in focusing on my clients as people, not as conditions or diagnoses. As a therapist who specializes in Eating Disorders and is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy) trained, I believe having a good and trusting connection with my clients is key.
Nonetheless, my intentions are to help my clients grow and achieve their most ultimate goals in life. I counsel individuals who struggle with anxiety, body dysmorphia, depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), problems with sexualized behaviors, anger management, substance abuse, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Visual Snow Syndrome, interpersonal issues and low self-esteem. I also use strategies of Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Talk Therapy, Exposure Therapy, and Relapse Prevention.
More importantly, when working with individuals, I recognize and focus my interactions on affirming they are deserving of empathy, respect, and deserve a purpose, despite what life may throw at them. Clients can anticipate dedication from me in supporting them with overcoming life obstacles and challenges.
A Gould They/Them, He/Him
I’m A Gould (they/them and he/him). I’m a counseling intern at Twin Peaks and I’m being supervised by Sarah Thuerling Jones, LPC. I’m currently a graduate student at Southern Connecticut State University, working toward my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. After graduating, I plan on becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
I’m a proud non-binary, transgender, queer, and neurodivergent person. I’m passionate about serving my LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities, providing affirming mental health care. My goal is to provide my clients space to explore and express their true selves. I’m not afraid to lean into difficult topics that our society shies away from or shames. I’m committed to being a transgender-, queer-, sex-, poly-, and fat-positive counselor.
As a white counselor, I want to name my privilege and recognize how this can impact our relationship. At the same time, I want to reassure any potential BIPOC clients and clients across cultural backgrounds that I’m committed to doing the work to provide an inclusive therapeutic space, challenge my biases, learn from others different from me, and welcome accountability. I view cultural competency as an ongoing journey and not a destination that can be reached.
Outside of this counseling internship, I work as a program coordinator for the Yale School of Medicine’s Health Equity Thread, a curriculum thread designed to equip medical students with the knowledge and skills needed to understand and respond to the challenge of assuring a diverse, equitable, and inclusive healthcare system for patients and communities. Prior to this position, I worked in psychiatric research. Over my five years in psychiatric research, I worked on a variety of studies with diverse study participants, including people with schizophrenia, military family members with complicated grief, and Veterans and active-duty service members with posttraumatic stress disorder and eating disorders. In addition, I have provided program support for a Veteran Affairs (VA) continuing medical education webinar series, which provided training to VA healthcare professionals on suicide prevention, substance use disorder and LGBTQ+ mental health. I graduated from Wells College with a bachelor’s degree, having majored in Psychology.
